We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Dudley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
My family is originally from Alabama and my wife’s family from Fort Worth, TX. We were both raised with strong church background and have a deep appreciation for ministry. In large parts, we are thankful for our parents for doing exactly as the bible instructs which is to train up a child in the way they should go. Because of our parents obedience to God, we have been able to form this amazing group of worshippers who help us do what we’ve been called to do.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Purpose Ministry was created out of a need to worship without limits. All of the members share a passion to worship God and devotedly do so at their church homes. However, the protocols and traditions of church can create challenges of those who serve. We all respect the order that church presents but as creatives, we desire to worship in a way that may not always align with those traditions. We are proud to have a group of people who freely worship in a way that is most comfortable to them. We learned that it is not the way we worship that allows us to connect in such a passionate way but it is who we worship that mols us together. Everything we do in song and service is for the glory of God. We have learned to worship in spirit and in truth so that when we present ourselves before God’s people, they are directed back to him.

We are also proud of the completion of our original song “Lifted” written by Founders Daniel & Symone Dudley. We debuted at our Spring worship night and plans are underway to have it professionally recorded.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We enjoy trying different wing places, Pluckers’s being the #1 choice. We also have enjoyed dining at Charleston’s in Fort Worth. On occasions, we may go to Boomerjack’s and enjoy each other’s company.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our biggest thanks goes to God for giving us a vision and directing our every step. A huge shoutout to Purpose Ministry for bringing the vision to life. Thank you all for being unapologetically you! We also are grateful to the Pastors and churches that have not only allowed us to borrow their singers but have also welcomed us into their places of worship. A final thanks to EVERYONE that has attended a worship night, gave a donation, shared a video, commented on a post and supported us in any way. The love you all show us is immeasurable. Thank you!
