Why did you pursue an artistic or creative career?

Artists and creatives face innumerable challenges given that their career path often doesn’t come with a playbook, a steady paycheck or any form of safety net. It’s definitely not easy and so we asked a few of the artists and creatives we admire to talk to us about why they chose to pursue an artistic or creative career.

I’ve always been a imaginative, creative person. I used to write short stories when I was a kid. I loved playing with action figures and creating stories of their various adventures around our living room. So a creative career was the only type that I would be fulfilled in. I have worked in advertising for the last 27 years which is very creative. We creatively help brands connect to the right audiences so that their businesses grow. My writing career allows me to use my creativity to build stories that not only entertain but help people maximize life.
