We had the good fortune of connecting with Victory Lyric and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victory, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I owned multiple bakeries and a restaurant about 12 years ago and I was invited to several morning television shows as a celebrity Guest chef. I had an absolute blast doing morning television, and the idea of creating a talkshow with various artisans and entrepreneurs that would inspire others to become all they are called and created to be just really became a seed for a dream that I started in January when I launched ArieVive Studios on The Daily Gospel Network and now also on Legind Plus Studios as well as podcast & YouTube and social media.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets us apart from others is that ArieVive Studios is an inspiration to others with a three-part show. The three different portions highlight three different parts of the artisan and their journey. This makes the show exciting to a variety of audiences. The first segment in the show is the artisan or entrepreneurs inspiration POV, and story. The story of how they got started that would inspire others into going for their own dreams and callings! the second portion of the show is a little different it’s the Artisan POV, that is a fun tutorial segment or maybe if it’s a musical artist, it would be a live performance segment of something new they’re working on.. And that is there to help people learn practical skills and knowledge from our guest so that they can try something new ,The third segment is the Victory POV, about the you would not believe victory stories that have happened in our guest lives! Amazing miracles, and stories of incredible things God has done in their lives.
Being a three-part show like that definitely set us apart And I am super proud of what we are doing and learning from all of our guests on the show.
The journey to beginning this talk show/ministry is a long and difficult one. I had this dream 11- 12 years ago, but shortly after deciding it was something I was going to move forward on, my marriage fell apart! I completely had to do a 180 turn and figure out how to be a single mom and single business owner, etc. So the last, 10 years have been quite a struggle and a journey to healing and growth and stepping out also into what God has called and created me to be, so it hasn’t been easy but it’s been an absolute blessing to have learned all of the lessons I’ve learned on my journey, and to have gained wisdom and strength along the way. Those experiences have absolutely helped me to Become the person I am today, able to step out on this journey of starting a new TV show & writing a book as well! If I can start over and go for my dreams after loss, I hope the audience can be inspired to as well!
Hi, will say that I also started GreylynnDanesand Bulldogs.com In the midst of Covid when I had a construction company and couldn’t find materials. That shifting of the way that I provided for a family was a real blessing because it is allowed me to be able to work from home and work on my book as well as ArieVive Studios. Plus, I get to hang around adorable puppies and meet incredible families!
What I would like people to know about ArieVive Studios and about Victory Lyric is that you are not alone on your journey, we all face setbacks and disappointments in our lives but, you are valuable and worthy, and we all have amazing gifts and talents inside of us that the world needs! I would love to encourage you to be brave and step out into those callings and dreams and leave behind the thought processes that may be limiting such as past rejections and failures. I would encourage you to love yourself enough to let your light shine and dream again and have the courage to go for those amazing things that were placed inside of you before you were even born!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them out to the trails at Eagle Mountain Park since that’s about my favorite place on the planet, then I would take them to lunch maybe over at Hopdoddy’s For a chicken burger on a bed of brussels sprouts!
Definitely out to Granburry for a little fun shopping around the square maybe a little antique shopping and hiking.
Maybe a little shopping and dining in downtown Grapevine. Maybe check out Grimaldi’s pizza!
Probably a little adventure at the stockyards because of course you do not want to miss the longhorn photo opportunities! And maybe a little country dancing at Billy Bob’s just for fun!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I will say my aunt Marlana Gray has been an unwavering support and encourager each and every day of my journey!
I would also like to say that my sister-in-law Kaleena McLaughlin was an incredible partner in helping create the original vision for ArieVive Studios! She was an incredible encouragement and joy to create with!
Miss Hailey Walker, my intern has been an incredible valuable resource and support!
George Sanders, the owner of the Daily gospel network has been my mentor and such an incredible support! He has provided a real help on this journey! Practical knowledge and support.
My dad Mike McLaughlin is also amazing. He knows a lot of people and loves to find great guest for the show! He also watches every episode!
