We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinity White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trinity, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
So much has changed since I started Tri’Charms.Co. I am almost done with my junior year of high school, I play sport, and I have a job that invest beach into my business. It is important to not only manage your work and school but to manage your time. I have started to write out my days and nights so that I have time for virtual school, work, homework, and some time for Tri’Charm orders. Time is of the essence and it is so important that we are able to fit everything into a timely manner. I hear people say “There just aren’t enough hours in the day.”, There are… you just have to manage wisely. Some days, there are going to be late night and early mornings but it’s for the benefit of you and your business. I think there is sense of maturity that comes with balancing everything on your plate, you want more? you’ll go for more. You want something done ? you’ll get it done no matter the time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Tri’Charms&Co. came to me. At the time I started my business, we were in the middle of a pandemic, I was locked up in my room, and I just felt so unproductive. School had just let out and I didn’t want to go into my summer feeling like this, I wanted to do something but I didn’t know where. I started where I knew was right, prayer. I asked for guidance and a turn to the right direction by God..It took time, a few weeks, but then it was brought to me, Charm Bracelets. I didn’t know where to start. I didn’t know the business, I didn’t know here to order charms, how to even make a charm bracelet..but I was willing to work for it. I started my research, found what I needed and started practicing. Shortly after, I started an Instagram page , thinking nothing of it and in the spans of a month I had 100 followers. I never knew people would be that interested in something I was selling. I definitely began to learn that people who want to support you will and buying something doesn’t always have to be the support. It could be something as small as a shoutout or referring your page to a friend…ITS FREE! The first month was great, I felt like Tri’Charms&Co was a great decision but who knew what the following months would have instore. The next few months, I didn’t have much customer intake..I started to become doubtful and there were times where I wanted to quit, but I couldn’t ! I worked too hard to start, I have so much time to get better, so I waited. I dropped new items, Updated my page a little bit, and added a little more activity to the page. I was building my customer base and that was the best decision I ever made because without customers a business is nothing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Dallas, TX. Whether it’s a night out with my friends or spending the afternoon at home in my bed. I love my city, there’s so much to do, explore, and see here in Dallas. I love Top Golf, it’s a all exclusive golf place and restaurant, you’re guaranteed a good time with friends and family. Another place I’d say I enjoy in Dallas is Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor! I love amusement parks because I’m a kid at heart, the thrill and enjoyment you get from eating junk food, riding rides, and just laughs all day is a different type of fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I first want to thank God for his guidance into this industry. I struggled, talked to him, prayed about it, and he led me to Tri’Charms&Co. Secondly, this wouldn’t be possible with out the support of my parents and my closest friends…their incredible advice and words have led me to believe that I can do anything and that it starts somewhere but it’s where I finish that matters. Lastly, I want to thank each and every customer and friend that has purchased from me , shouted me out, sent to a friend, or even just explored my business because it means a lot. I wouldn’t be where I am without you all and my customers are the best and I love you all more than anything !
