We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracey Parson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tracey, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The biggest factor in my journey to success is self-acceptance. Once I accepted myself- flaws and all-I got out of my own way and could see what I needed to do in order to move forward.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is TraPar Entertainment. It was birthed from my desire to create success beyond the circumstances that I was in at the time. I decided to merge all of the avenues (writing, inventing, motivational speaking, consulting) that I was moving into one central location. It was no easy feat. It took a lot of self-reflection and realizing that I needed a small team to help me bring my vision to fruition. I hope that my journey will motivate others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s tough, because I really enjoy being around my family and anything we do together is a good time. So, I would probably say tourists, should visit Reading Terminal Market. They can people watch-which I love- and purchase anything from food to home goods to jewelry.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! My children have been the biggest motivator to overcome my shortfalls and to move forward. I want them to know how much they are valued and loved. I appreciate them so much.
