Meet Tori Johnson | Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tori Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tori, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process in creating DRTY LAUNDRY was to inspire people to be who they are and wear whatever they want to wear, regardless of what other people think. Because everybody is unique in their own way, so why not have your own style to express yourself?

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Everything is hand made separately to really create the unique differences in every piece, from our graphic tees to our denim jeans. I’m really excited for my F/W 24 release coming this November. I think this will do more to set us apart from other local brands. Although we haven’t reached our end goal yet, we have accomplished a lot just being in our third year.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Turkey Leg Paradise is a must! All events hosted by Cozy Hospitality are the move and will guarantee a great time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my family for all of their support and my business partner DJ White for believing in the vision from the start and for being there when I’m not to handle business. I also want to shout out Ramon, BIGshOts Photography, for being my professional photographer. Lastly, shout out to Shey, Tirone and Santana for believing in the brand.
