We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffini Sher’ee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffini, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson business has taught me is that it’s okay to start over!

We as entrepreneurs full of ambition start business ideas or projects with success at the end of the goal, we never see failure in the beginning, we are so full of optimism and confidence and strategy that we undermine over and over all the steps to win!
But what if it’s still fails?
Sometimes failing in business is really the biggest win!
I learned thru failure losses gear you up for a better round at the next stage to restart!
You just can’t quit!
Losing to win may sound cliche but it’s necessary to make you resilient.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Tiffini Sher’ee Studios is a Hair Salon for the elite. It’s for clients who are looking for hair care and hair style. You have to be referred by a VIP client to get an appointment. Tiffini Sher’ee Has a retail hair care line with professional products catered for hair growth and hair maintenance.

TS Studios started 7 years ago and has been growing and expanding in cosmetology courses for young new stylist looking to learn and intern from the TSBU hair University certificate program, taught by Tiffini Sher’ee.
Although it has been a journey in the salon industry thru the pandemic and other business losses Tiffini Sher”ee studios still manage to maintain clientele and customers.
Tiffini Sher’ee Studios has branched off with a former company TSExtensions, however After closing the location in Irving and having a $285,000 loss in investment, Tiffini Sher’ee Studios pick up where TS Extensions couldn’t and was able to continue the business with maintaining clients and customers and moving to Arlington.
So no matter what type of transitions cut backs down sizing you have the ability to bounce back with a great foundation is what counts! Today we still continue to thrive!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my guest in town I would definitely take them to my favorite restaurant STK Steakhouse. We definitely would hang out at some nice spots in deep ellum for music and arts.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wanna shout out myself! I sacrificed everything keep going when no one else wanted to, even when investors pulled out! I thank me for facing the darkest difficult challenge by myself, and I thank myself for Rebuilding my business and my brand Brick by Brick by myself!
