We had the good fortune of connecting with Tierra Fluker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tierra, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
My daughter father and I were engaged to be married in 2002. I planned to have my daughter as soon as I was engaged. She came rather quickly; as I found out I was quickly pregnant. I was ecstatic to find out I was pregnant and so was her dad in 2002. Three years later, Jade father and I broke up due to irreconcilable differences. However, we decided to go to family therapy to effectively co-parent. The Family therapy helped. We also decided to go to court and get a joint legal custody plan to share legal therapy. This was the best decision for our child and we put her first. The journey was not easy, however, with prayer, our church home and family, counseling and communication, her father and I had a effective plan that was in the best interest of our child to ensure that when she grow up, she enter the world as a successful young adult. My daughter having her mother and father in her life made a difference as she grew up having both parents who were in a mature co-parent relationship. Life challenges occurred, but, the formula I would stick with is

1. God first

2. Find a faith based place to worship that is the right place for you and your family

3. My daughter growing up did Ballet, Tap, golf and enjoyed singing for fun! Keep children involved when they are younger in activities is a recipe for success; it also helps with their brain development.

4. Keep negativity and family drama away from your children; only bring them up around positive, supportive and loving family members.

5 .Allow children to develop their own personality and allow them to blossom into who they need to be.

With these steps I provided, Jade finished high school 6 months early Dec 2022, she is currently attending Dental College, she aspires to become an Orthodontist Assistant and she works part time at a Dental Office. She is a smart, well rounded, fearless, strong-willed and intuitive young lady! I am so proud of her! We consider one another best friends!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Tierra Fluker was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. She moved to Dallas, TX with her daughter in 2018. Tierra now, also manages to live in another state. Tierra is a serial entrepreneur, she oversee several

Businesses daily, all while managing a team of freelancers to manage intricate parts of daily projects within her Businesses.

Tierra Fluker is the CEO of Distinctive Events Management LLC, a full service Event Management,

Endorsement Placement, Talent Management &Marketing Company. Distinctive added new services in

January and now offers executive recruiting services to help seasoned executives with resumes services and being placed with high earning careers.

Tierra Fluker is also owns Apex Property Management Company She has a dedicated team of professionals that do small horn repair jobs and also provide rehab services in Dallas, Texas.

Tierra Fluker is also the Founder and CEO of Faith Home Health LLC of Dallas, Texas and California. She will soon be accepting Medicare and Medicaid providing in home care assistance to senior citizens and disabled adults and teenagers.

She is also the owner of Tierra Fluker Self-Publishing. Which she helps authors turn their pain into their

book! All while keeping their publishing rights and 100% royalties from book sales.

Tierra Fluker Foundation services homeless youth with resources and also provide a single mother

annually with an academic scholarship.

Tierra has written and is the author of “Own your Pain” Written and published in 2014. Tierra wrote the

book “Own your Success” Written and published in 2017. Tierra Fluker third book will be released in 2022

“Own Your Synergy “.Tierra enjoys spending quality time with her Daughter and traveling.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place to visit in Dallas, Texas is Spa Castle; they have several in house therapeutic rooms for healing, massage, nail shop, waterpark, spa rooms, food cafe and rooms for overnight stay. The place is refreshing, fun and so relaxing.

I recommend for food places

XOXO dining-The venue is trendy, cute, food is delicious and the music is always great! Sundays, they have a dance performance you can’t take your eyes off of!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

I want to personally give thanks to quite a few people on this journey

1.Melanie she is a Pastor who resumes in Tampa, Flordia, she and her husband Richard has been a consistent role model, mentor, spiritual mother and friend during this journey of the past ten years.

2. Pastor Sherrod of St. Louis has been a consistent role model as well over the years, I always say, she has a singing voice, which is anointed and puts me and my daughter at ease when life storms hit, she has a way to calm down the storm and bring serenity into our space.

3. Belinda Bond-International Speaker- She is a Business mentor and I like to call her my eagle mentor as her sound business advice is unimaginable amazing, she always have the perfect scripture and or quote for business and the bible.

4. I would also like to give a special thanks to the all the wonderful strangers, associates, business clients, personal development seminars, workshops, books, life coaches and friends along this journey that poured into me as I walked this journey of life as well!
