We had the good fortune of connecting with Terica Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Terica, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I always try my best to assess the risk to any situation realistically. I try to understand and accept what I’m willing to lose before doing anything. But, I have the mindset that “if they did it I can do it too”. I think that helps me be okay with making more risky decisions. I do feel like i can accomplish anything i set my mind too.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is Dallas Aesthetic Studio located in Downtown Dallas. We offer all aesthetic injectables, mainly focusing on facial rejuvenation with Botox/filler and preventative treatments to assist with graceful aging.

I’m a pretty new business owner, opening in October of 2022. I recognize that I still have a lot to learn, it hasn’t been easy at all but ut has been worth it.

I feel like consistent dedication is required to have a successful business. So far I’ve learned a lot about dealing with clients from a customer service perspective, and also navigating how to stand up for myself as a business owner and that’s it’s okay to say no if something isn’t a good fit for you!

I want the world to know that you can start from scratch and be successful and success looks different for everyone. I also want the world to know there’s always the ability to reinvent yourself in any aspect of life and create a better version of you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Tbh I haven’t experienced dallas as much as I would like because of the fact I’ve worked so much during my time here. I would for someone to create me an itinerary with all the best things to do here.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldnt dedicatemy shout out to a specific person. I feel like my story should be dedicated to hardships I have over come that have allowed me to have a better outlook on life and understanding that we’re only giving one. You have to make this one count.
