We had the good fortune of connecting with Teneal Sims and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teneal, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my family, friends and loyal clientele, without them rooting for me, I would be nothing.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a one stop shop for all your crafting and event needs. I got where I am today from my passion and love of crafting and event planning. I would not say it was easy but it was not hard either, when you love what you do, there is nothing hard about it.

Lessons learned is that it is okay to make mistakes, you learn from them and grow. In being an entrepreneur, you take the good with the bad and see growth.

My grandpa is my biggest inspiration and where my business name came from, he passed away in 2006 and I know with him watching over me, Queen T’s Crafty Things & Co. will not fail.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I mean a lot of shopping, girl talk, cocktails and food.

The Dallas area has a lot of great scenery, all the new restaurants in Legacy West, Downtown Dallas and Granscape in The Colony would be the places we would checkout.
