We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Novarro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, how does your business help the community?
The social impact Dallashotspots has on the Dallas-Fort Worth community is greater than I could have ever imagined. What excites me the most about the business’s impact on the community is the memories it creates for people and their families. I started this page as a portfolio to assist in getting a job after graduating right when Covid hit in 2020. Now looking back two years later, not only does Dallashotspots have an impact on the community but also me.

The community impact Dallashotspots brings is exciting to watch unfold every day. People get to use my page to discover new places, entertainment activities and try new foods that will hopefully leave a lasting memory for them. My page creates experiences for the community and also benefits small businesses. With Dallashotspots, I can give back to the community and shine a light on small businesses to get the recognition they deserve. Promoting these businesses on my page gives them the opportunity to thrive in a city where restaurants and entertainment venues are along every corner. I have seen it change the lives of small business owners and that impact is what I hold closest to me and what makes running this business so special.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Dallashotspots, has now turned into HotSpots Media. I created the LLC. so that I can expand to cities all across the nation and have Hot Spots pages in the biggest cities in the country, I am most proud of how this page has helped me expand my skillset in social media management and business. Since I started the page as a portfolio to prove I could create and run a successful social media page, I could have stopped after it accomplished its goal of helping me land a job. But instead, I decided I wanted to see how big and impactful the page could get and put everything into developing the page. The page doesn’t feature my face directly but is a direct representation of who I am.

I want people to know that there are never too many in the influencer/blogger industry. I love all my friends in the Dallas influencer bubble and if running a successful social media page is what you dream of doing, I know there is always room for more.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I were to take a friend to all the city’s best spots, this is where I would take them! I would start with brunch at Sfuzzi and get their breakfast pizza and blueberry ricotta pancakes. Then I would take them for a luxury spa day at The Joule before heading to Electric Shuffle to enjoy lunch and shuffleboard! We would then have happy hour at Harwood Arms and dinner at TJ’s Seafood market. We would end the night out on the town at Lit kitchen and have ourselves a day!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My friends and family who are always willing to help and go to places when the event schedule gets packed! Also to my friend Devin who helped me create the idea and brand of Dallashotspots.
