We had the good fortune of connecting with Tay Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tay, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Perfect Price Planning in August 2019 with the hopes of helping others “do more, with less.” Growing up in urban Memphis, TN – many families in my neighborhood had access to very limited resources. Through my professional experience as a licensed therapist, I am well-versed in connecting families to needed resources with the intention of further improving their social and emotional well-being. Through Perfect Price Planning, I began to connect families to resources in the realm of leisure through travel planning, event coordination, and activity planning. The catch is, we do this with reverence to any and all budgets! I birthed Perfect Price Planning with families like mine in mind!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Perfect Price Planning was birthed with YOU in mind – no matter who you are. Through our motto “You Think It, We Plan It,” we pride ourselves on taking the task of planning off of our clients, to their comfort level. With financial literacy as a priority, we are sure to assist clients in making the best financial decisions while still experiencing a taste of luxury. Our planning business offers travel planning, event coordination, activity planning, and budget planning. We continue to work day in and day out to scout the best of the best in Dallas and beyond as it relates to photographers/ videographers, venues, lodge accommodations, decorators, entertainment, caterers/ private chefs, bartenders, bakers, etc. We are most excited about the expansion of Perfect Price Planning. We are working to offer even more planning resources to the Dallas community! Stay tuned.

I got to where I am today through perseverance and faith. With curve balls coming my way and mountains that appear too big to climb at times, I continue to push through. I’ve learned that faith can take you places you never knew existed but you’ve got to put in the work. Anytime you see Perfect Price Planning (PPP), know that it is a brand built on faith and love and my hope is that every client I’ve had the privilege of working with felt just that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d for sure start the week with Sunday Funday, because I mean that’s the law here, right? First thing’s first, brunch at Jonathan’s Oak Cliff because the food is amazing and who says ‘no’ to a brunch burger, a $15 champagne bottle, and a patio in Dallas? We’d then head to Deep Ellum for the action – photo ops, good music, people watching from the rooftops, bar hopping, and a Pineapple Express from Trinity Cider.

But if I give you anymore, I’ll have to charge you a Perfect Price Planning consultation fee 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This shoutout, without a doubt, has to go to my loving husband, Darrel Price. I am forever thankful for his gentleness, patience, and encouragement. From listening to me read you email responses while you try to watch anime – to spending your Sunday evening helping me set up an event for a client when he’d much rather play Call of Duty, I appreciate it all. Even when it’s difficult for me to see a way out, he helps me to center myself and before I know it, I’ve identified multiple ways through. I love and appreciate him, Always & Forever.
