We had the good fortune of connecting with Tara Forgie Heather Holland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tara Forgie, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal is simple; We want a thriving business where we can showcase our skincare talents. We pride ourselves in knowing that we are constantly continuing our education and receiving certifications, so we are always up to date and can help our clients look and feel their best.

What should our readers know about your business?
Heather and I have both been in the beauty industry for 10+ years. We are also the only two employees at the spa, so I feel like our background/knowledge, and being able to really personalize everything sets us apart from other mainstream spas. When we met we were both working at a MedSpa and eventually decided to go into business together. In the beginning, I will admit we had a few hiccups, but holding steady in our friendship and the support we received from our loved ones allowed us to come out on the other side. I think she and I compliment each others skill sets nicely.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Anyone that knows us knows that Fredericksburg , TX is our spot. It’s our happy place. We go together once a year and we call it our team building trip, but really it’s just drinking wine and laughing until our faces hurt. You can find us at Grape Creek Vineyards or Barrons Creek sipping chilled Viognier on a patio or shopping in the historic square.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Tara: My Shout out is for my husband Andrew. Without his encouragement and support I would absolutely not be where I am today. Heather: My shout out is to my tribe. I am thankful to be surrounded by supportive, family and friends. They believe in me even when I second guess myself. With their support I can move mountains
