We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamme Leff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamme, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My work life balance has changed over the years. I take more time to enjoy the things that I love to do. For example I play pickleball in the mornings and block that time for myself. Before, my focus was work and my kids. Now that they are grown, I can spend more time traveling and sleeping in!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently I am one of the owners of the Frisco Rail Yard. Working in an environment where our customers are there to have a good time. Watching people laugh, dance and having a good time listening to our bands make its a fun place to be, so it doesn’t feel like work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Having lived in Frisco for 27 years, I have experienced the growth. Legacy West, downtown Frisco and the Star are my favorite hang out places.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dedication shoutout is to my business partners Greg and Kristy McDonald. We have created and operated three different businesses together, and they are two of my best friends.
