Meet sweet bonezz | Model & Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with sweet bonezz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi sweet, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Realizing in the last years that inhaling fresh air is a big risk itself has helped me take further steps into my career. Any young Hispanic female raised or living in a lower-middle-class neighborhood has never been safe. I learned the hazard starts when you put on the shoe, as one has to check if there are any bugs inside. My eyes have encountered a lot, anyone can be a model, photographer, musician, or dentist. Many try to roll the dice but get caught in scams forgetting any career is a game of chance. The only way to gain is by realizing who you can surround yourself with. In order to gain, conflicts are a must. I strongly believe in a bigger spirit than me, that has been showing me slides of different dangers, to strengthen me so I may be of service to others. I let it sink in at a young age, that crossing a sidewalk could be an easy decision for my peers but it was never going to be for me. From the moment one opens their eyes, we start creating an infinite list of dangers for ourselves that we will face throughout the day. As humans, we needed to create a routine to slow ourselves down from this exposure, but when one is truly dedicated to their work there is no time-out. If it wasn’t for any risk, I accept I wouldn’t be typing this.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The difference between choices and decisions is with choices you clearly have more than one option. When I realized my life was being used up by negative, ignorant choices that I was making, I decided to make a decision. A decision to better me in any possible way no matter who or what needed to be removed had to be done. Everyone faces difficulties in life and mine aren’t rare, just like millions I have been assaulted, physically and mentally abused, penniless, etc. been through it all. I am most proud of my strength and all the challenges I have encountered because most people don’t come out of this boxed state of mind. Yet I am breaking every barrier, there are no limitations on strength or building your own brand you just have to be the spirit. I am writing my life as I go as I am displaying, you can transport to any world using a device. The decision to ride with me and be a part of my history is something I am thankful for as I know there’s a grand passage ahead of bonezz.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When anyone comes through you can never go wrong with Waffle House for breakfast but for me theres nothing better a good meal at Mr. Tako on hwy 5. Since I do eat about 10x a day due to my fast metabolism Bakers drive-in in Mckinney, or the Storming crab on 75 are perfect for a mid day snack, this is the only place to offer the most delicious gator around. Best spot to get some good drinks is 4 Kahunas in Arlington. But if we are going into night life, bar hopping in Deep Ellum is where to go. All the nightclubs in the Dfw are an enjoyment, each one carrying a different feel its always best to just bar-hop. Of course its not a considered a good time if you dont end up at Paisanos on Lombardy to end the night with some more tacos. Definitely hitting up a rooftop is a must if you want to take in the city.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As a teenager I started running blindly down a track of pain, approaching a point of no return. Not knowing how to dominate my own mind and thoughts I met a sublime individual, my Creative Writing teacher Ms. Tisdale. Advising me, I wrote a poem which she supported being published. Obtaining that feeling, I took the blindfold off and sprinted to a torch that I knew was never going to burn out. I learned how to control my thoughts. I find encouragement through anyone I meet, whether it has been a negative or positive experience I am thankful. Support and approval clash with Hispanic beliefs. I admire my family tree, but I’ve always been far from the shading of the leaves. I carry a lot of gratitude and have absorbed strength throughout my roots, all towards the people, the culture, for emboldening me. My partner, for contributing firepower to my backbone and persistence in my brain.
