Hi SWATHI, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Small or big, I wanted to have an identity myself, I wanted to be Independent. I want to make my own decisions, have my own work schedules, and wanted to do something which makes my father proud. Frankly I had no idea on what to do, how to do .But just had one dream of becoming an Entrepreneur .I was prepared to fail and Try again .

What’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with ?
The most conventional advice is given by people who never did any experiments. I don’t know the difference between conventional advice and unconventional advice. I listen to every advice and see if it fits me.

Risk Taking :How do you think about risk .What role has taking risks played in your life/career?
Do you accept if I say that every time you need to take a decision between YES and NO is some kind of risk taking .There are many such YES ,NO’s in my life and career as well .Some yes’s gave me struggles ,put me in trouble and brought me issues and many NO’s helped me to move forward ,made me strong, gave me mental strength to handle things ..Taking risks always helped me .

What habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Discipline, Determination, Focus and being Authentic.

SHEJOBS ,www.she-jobs.com is an exclusive job portal for women in Technology and Under represented minorities .We closely work with organizations to improve their diversity metrics.We as a team ,enable women to go to work inspite of having break in career.Every time a woman goes to work through us we celebrate .SHEJOBS evolved out of my personal story and every woman’s story around me. Organizations today need support of companies like SHEJOBS to close the gender gap that exists in industry and to create inclusive environment.SHEJOBS has become purpose of my life and me along with my team want to support women who has gaps in career and women who has children with disabilities and special needs.Nothing is easy .Everyday is challenge and the beauty lies on how strong we become with each challenge .I want world to know that i am serious ,our mission is serious.I learnt to be with Discipline, Determination and Authentic to achieve what i am aiming for.The most important lessons i learnt in my career is To Value my team more than myself ..To be with integrity .

Whats the most Important factor behind your success /the success for your brand ?
In my view success means just being in the journey .As long as I do what I like and admire ,I consider myself successful .We started SHEJOBS with a vision to support women in Technology and Under Represented Minorities.We as a team ,enable women to go to work inspite of having break in career.Every time a woman goes to work through us we celebrate .If we have to call this as success ,let be .. We will work on this mission every day with great energy and repeat .

Whats the Most imp lesson your business /career has taught you ?
To Value my team more than myself ..To be with integrity .

Work Life BALANCE .How has your balance changed over time? How do you think about the balance ?
Lets come to agreement that one can not have everything in their life .Its all about priorities .I follow need of hour .If I have key deliverables ,I prefer to work on them irrespective of time.Over the time I realized balancing my energy is very important than balancing time.

How did you come up with idea for your business?
SHEJOBS evolved out of my personal story and every woman’s story around me. Organizations today need support of companies like SHEJOBS to meet their Diversity metrics .We are striving to close the gender gap that exists in industry and trying to create inclusive environment.SHEJOBS has become purpose of my life and me along with my team want to support women who has gaps in career and women who has children with disabilities and special needs.

Why did you pursue an artistic or creative career ?
I always wanted a career that can give solutions to any real time problems.If the career I choose can also become purpose of my life ,then it is God’s Gift.

What are you inspired by ?
Thy mind which is chasing one’s dreams ,which is passionate,commited and is ethical inspires me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a very much indoor person but if i had to take my friend out ,will take them for one of the largest buffet places ,Ourplace restuarent in Irving.There is variety of food in there .I would take them for shopping in Allen and North park Mall.There is an awesome Grapevine lake which gives some relaxation on any busy day .Desi district Restaurant in irving and Little elm offers contemporary food and coffee .Karyasiddhi hanuman Temple is a great spiritual place for some prayers. Cosmiccafe is one of my favorite hangout space as well ..That place has great vibes in there.
