We had the good fortune of connecting with Sin Da God and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sin, why did you pursue a creative career?
I feel like it was art and creativity that chose me rather than the other way around. I’ve always loved drawing, and music has been an element that influenced my entire childhood and household since birth. And since it was a household passion my family enjoying and expressing themselves artistically and creatively helped me to stay focused and remain consistent with it myself.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe it’s my aura that sets me apart from the rest. I exude a vibe that tends to attract the masses. As well as a sound that compliments that aura. I also tend to not be impaired by the generational gap that is constantly being created as the years continue to move forward. I look forward to continuously growing my reach and expanding my fan base as I proceed to touch the hearts and souls of those who are exposed to me. I’ve put in work with a lot of new and even well known artists as well as producers that I know will help me reach that goal. I know it’s not an overnight process and honestly I’m more focused on the end result rather than the process of getting there. The tunnel vision is real in a way. But ultimately I believe that the goal of this life is to be(come) divine. And nothing has nor will ever knock me off that course unless I do.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to recommend a few places to visit it would definitely be the botanical gardens off University in Fort Worth. The whole experience is just beautiful and enjoyable for all ages. I’d also recommend Main Event because there’s a wide range of activities for you to do.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to give special thanks to the universe, the battle rap culture, all my fans and supporters, my family and loved ones. Without each of these entities I wouldn’t be where I am today.
