Hi Shannan, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Impact and change! In my career, I have dual aspects that both revolve around serving others. I live to make an impact in people’s lives whether it be helping clients design their forever home, redesign their kitchen, purchase their dream home or sell their current home. Each one of these journeys is a life change and there are fewer industries where you really get into the personal trenches with others. I love having the opportunity to be a part of something bigger and positively help make my client’s lives better.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a licensed Texas REALTOR® and Interior Designer and the founder / owner of Shannan Bower Real Estate + Design. We provide full service interior design as well as assistance with the purchasing / investing / selling of real estate property. With our interior design services, we provide simple room makeovers to full home design and many facets in between. As REALTOR®️(s) we help clients sell their current home, find that long awaited dream home or investment opportunities and partner with them as they navigate the sometimes overwhelming journey.

I was employed in a corporate environment for 9 years when I decided to follow my dreams, live in what I knew God created me for and venture out on my own as a business owner, I’ve lived both sides of business, the employer and the employed. There are challenges with each, but I feel business ownership is where I thrive. I have strengths in the ability to lead, the creative ability to impact and the opportunity to cause positive change – just on my own terms haha!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God! My path in business ownership hasn’t been the easiest. With struggles and pivots more often than the ease of momentum, God has kept me going. With faithful friendships and mentorship along the way, I refused to give up and God has blessed me abundantly. I have been blessed to be a part of people’s lives, a part of their journey to positive change and exciting adventures that are extremely rewarding!
