We had the good fortune of connecting with Shanice Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shanice, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
LE Logistics+Dispatch was established out of need. My current partner spent over a decade on the road and so has my great friends. It truly sadden me to see what they were going through as women in the trucking industry. I felt that I could make a difference, be their voice. LE Logistics+Dispatch caters to the female trucker. We provide several services to help keep them on the road and focused on their success.

What should our readers know about your business?
My journey in business has been an emotional rollercoaster. I’ve experienced everything that a one woman show could experience in business, including lack of support from family. In the beginning that aspect of business discouraged me. Now I focus on the ones that support me instead of the ones that don’t. I’ve come a long way and I am nowhere near done.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Bowlero is my favorite spot for bonding with friends. The food is great, the drinks are strong and the bowling is satisfying.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had the privilege of having strong black women entrepreneurs in my circle. There isn’t one person to recognize here. I thank my entire tribe.
