We had the good fortune of connecting with Ro’bee Stallings and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ro’bee, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have a team of people I work with and we bounce around ideas.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an Artist/ Creative, I enjoy helping others bring their artistic goals to life. It took a while to arrive to this point, almost 19 years. I started writing lyrics in 2004, and Legworks Promotion with the idea of finding gigs and creating content for myself and others. I can’t say it was easy, there was a lot of trial and error but in the long run, it made me who and what I am today. One of my biggest hurtles had to be timing and learning to be patient, not just with myself but with others. I want the world to know that Legworks Promotion is open to working with people of all walks of life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d plan their trip around a concert, one that my team and I have put together. Allow my friend to have the opportunity to meet the headliner of the concert, I’d show them around Dallas night life and take them to Fort Worth to the stockyards for an authentic feel of the Wild West.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout Eric Thomas and Gary Vanderchuck, both of these guys were my inspiration to keep going when I felt like I couldn’t. Most importantly ID like to shoutout my big brothers of G.L.O.A.T. Entertainment (G Champion, Michael Heathen, and IQ Tha Chemist) for giving me game and helping keep me focused.
