We had the good fortune of connecting with Reston Esquell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reston, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a spin-off of my initial company, Honey Do and Co (a remodeling company that offers handyman services) Honey Do Homes was created because we are passionate about bettering the community and we saw that there is a huge opportunity to create win-win situations for all parties involved in real estate transactions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We enjoy creating win-wins for our clients. Whether it’s by the acquisition of a new property, working with end buyers to find them the right fit, renovating for our own portfolio or managing someone else’s renovation. For the last 15 years, our team has been acquiring skills in the home industry by means of coordinating the purchase or selling of property, building custom homes, managing teams, managing projects, negotiating, and building personal and professional relationships.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of our favorite places for client meetings or personal dinners are Dakotas steakhouse, 1836, 4 way cafe, javis, Mr Taco, and La Hacienda in Troup

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
All the credit belongs to God. He has placed me in situations, given me the inspiration and surrounded me by the right people to create and nurture HDH.
