Meet Ray Quezada | Photographer / Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ray Quezada and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ray, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
To have more free time to raise my son

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets us apart from other bands is I get to perform with my son by my side as the bassist for the band. He’s an amazing bassist. We started this band in honor of my late wife, my sons mother. We have been grinding and grinding to make a name for ourselves. It’s wasn’t easy just because venues wouldn’t give my son a change to play because he is underage. Once a few venue gave him a chance. Other venue caught wind of his name they let him in to really rock out. Lessons we’ve learned is to keep moving forward. What I’d like for people to know about our story is… Life is short. Live, love and have fun. Words from my late wife.
I also have a photography and printing business that I started when my late wife was here. She was the one that pushed me to find my passion. So being creative is the one thing that I love to do. My late wife loved to see my work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was in town. We would travel to some of the major cities and listen to live music. I’m open to any kind of food. Finding mom and pops kitchens would be fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Who I would love to give credit to is my late wife Laura Quezada.
