Hi Porsche, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Porsche Miles Grant aka Comedian Judge Miles is a people person that loves providing resources and laughter to her community. As a result, I created The Miles Experience which incorporates all three of my businesses. I am a certified Financial Counselor, a fitness instructor and a comedian/podcast host. With The Miles Experience, I am able to bring you laughter, fitness and financial freedom. I am helping and healing people mentally, physically and financially. Therefore, the idea behind starting my business was helping people to develop and grow. My business hits all essential parts of life that is needed for a person to be successful.

I believe that offering all that I do sets me apart from other businesses and business owners.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
By profession, I am a communication professional. I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s in political science and also received my master’s in organizational leadership from Northwood University. I have worked in government and banking for many of my professional years. I officially became an entrepreneur in 2016. I had been teaching dance fitness classes for 4 years and wanted to open my own fitness dance business. I established Girls Gone Fit LLC in 2016 along with Financial Success Services LLC where I consult clients on money management. In 2018 I changed the direction of my career and went into stand up. It was not easy. Infact, it was a bit challenging learning the ins and outs of stand up in the city of Detroit. However, I was able to overcome all challenges by staying diligent and determined. I was my biggest fan and I had support from my friends, family and parents. I have learned throughout my comedy career that I am not everyone’s cup of tea, and I am ok with that. As Comedian Judge Miles, my comedy is REAL, RAW and RAUNCHY. I am unapologetically me and I enjoy being a force to be reckon with. I want the world to know that even though I make this shit look easy, it is not. To be truly successful in life you have to stay focused, and you must be disciplined. Everything I have I worked hard for. I have never been giving anything and have always had to fight for everything. But with the help of God, I am always going to win and will be winning until I leave this earth. There is no getting around that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start off by taking them to Mootz pizza downtown. It is addictive and a great ambiance. Then we would go to punchline comedy club to laugh as we watch local and celebrity comedians. I would then take them to Duos to dance and catch a vibe as we eat and drink some of the best food and cocktails. We would then go skating on the eastside of Detroit at Royals on Sunday and enjoy a grown, upbeat vibe. We would then go get some lamb chops from views and enjoy the views of Detroit’s best strippers at the Patheon. I would go get some fresh clothing from Plugged Downtown and stop by the lip bar for makeup. We would then go for hookah at Miami Nights hookah spot downtown. I would end it by going for a walk at the river walk and getting some Lousiana Gumbo and ride around belle island.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout God for always being there when I had no one. For being my mother, father, significant other best friend and provider. Without God, I would not be where I am and doing what I do. I literally owe everything to God and God only.
