Meet Paul Griffith | Creative Founder & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paul Griffith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paul, what do you attribute your success to?
To truly succeed in any endeavor, it’s essential not just to find the right team, but to actively empower them to reach their full potential. The right team brings a mix of skills, passion, and perspectives that align with your vision, but it’s your ongoing commitment to their growth and wellbeing that transforms potential into excellence. Invest in their development, encourage open communication, and provide the tools and trust they need to shine. When people feel valued, supported, and respected, they’re inspired to go above and beyond, taking creativity to another level.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Big Screen Studios is our creative playground and client launchpad all in one. We built it to bring virtual production to Dallas in a way that’s accessible, nimble, and story-driven. Our space features a 30-foot LED volume wall, but it’s not just about the tech, it’s about how we use it. We can create cinematic worlds in hours instead of weeks, giving brands, agencies, and artists a toolset they’d normally only see in Hollywood.
What sets us apart is our mindset. We didn’t design Big Screen Studios as a demo space, we designed it to solve problems. For a brand that needs five locations in a single day, we can do that without a single flight. For an artist in our residency program, we give them room to experiment. For agencies, we become a creative partner that helps them punch above their weight.
It hasn’t been easy. Virtual production is still new, and that means education is half the job. We’ve had to overcome skepticism, show proof of concept, and build trust one project at a time. The lesson we’ve learned is that innovation only sticks if you pair it with service.
What I’m most proud of is the community we’re building. Between our Artist in Residence program, our agency partnerships, and the content created in the space, it feels like we’re at the front edge of something much bigger. If there’s one thing to know about Big Screen Studios, it’s this: we’re not here to make the wall the star, we’re here to make your story the star.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d start with dumplings at Jeng Chi in Richardson, then hit Chris and John’s for their fusion street food. NorthPark is great for shopping and people-watching, and downtown has incredible museums like the DMA and Perot.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve got to give the biggest shoutout to my wife, Grace. She’s not just my partner at home, she’s my partner in this business too. We’ve merged our creative worlds together in Griffith Media and has been the biggest supporter of Big Screen Studios.
From day one, she’s pushed me to think bigger, challenged me when I needed it, and supported me when things got tough. Our team sees it every day, she brings vision, leadership, and creativity that enables us all to run with excellence.
Honestly, the fact that I get to build something meaningful side by side with her is the best part of this whole journey. I couldn’t do it without her.
