Meet Natasha August | CEO & Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha August and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natasha, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important thing I’ve done as a parent is show my children what financial independence and hard work actually look like in real life. I want them to understand that money doesn’t just appear… it’s earned through discipline, effort, and responsibility. They see how hard we work to provide the life they have, and that’s intentional.
Especially for my daughter, it’s important to me that she grows up knowing she never has to rely on anyone else for security or opportunity. I want her to value her independence, understand the worth of a dollar, and believe in her ability to build something on her own. That lesson, more than anything, is what I hope stays with them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
RM11 is a creator monetization platform, redefining how influencers, creators (including AI models), celebrities, and artists connect, earn, and thrive with their fans. What sets us apart is that we weren’t designed to extract value from creators… we were built to protect it. On RM11, creators keep more of what they earn, maintain control over their audience, and don’t have to compete in a public marketplace that commoditizes their work. We’re private, link-based, and selective by design, which creates a very different experience for both creators and their fans.
What I’m most proud of is that we’ve stayed true to that vision as we’ve grown. It would have been easy to chase fast growth or copy what already exists, but we made a conscious decision to build something more intentional. RM11 focuses on long-term trust, not short-term hype, and that’s reflected in how creators use the platform and how they build sustainable income over time.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Building a company from the ground up never is. There were moments of uncertainty, pivots that had to be made quickly, and challenges that tested both patience and resilience. What helped me push through was staying deeply connected to the problem we were solving and the people we were building for. When you’re clear on your “why,” it becomes easier to navigate the hard parts.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that focus matters more than speed. Growth is important, but clarity, discipline, and execution matter more in the long run. I’ve also learned the value of surrounding yourself with people who trust your vision, whether that’s investors, partners, or your internal team, and giving yourself permission to build on your own terms.
What I want the world to know about me and RM11 is that this wasn’t built by accident or trend-chasing. It was built with intention, experience, and a deep respect for creators. At the end of the day, RM11 is about empowering people to own what they’ve built — their audience, their income, and their future — and creating a platform that actually supports that promise.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Dallas for a week and I wanted to give them the full experience, I’d plan it around great food, cool neighborhoods, culture, and a little bit of Texas hype.
Day 1 – Set the Tone
We’d start with dinner at Javier’s, a Dallas staple. After dinner, drinks at The Mansion for something vibey.
Day 2 – Bishop Arts District
We’d spend the day in Bishop Arts, one of the most charming and creative pockets of Dallas. Start with brunch at Encina or Oddfellows, then walk the neighborhood — boutiques, local shops, murals, and galleries. Coffee at La Reunion or Houndstooth, and a slow afternoon just taking it all in.
Dinner would be at Lucia if we can get a table, or Paradiso for something fun and lively.
Day 3 – Culture + History
A morning at the Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Museum of Art, then lunch in Knox-Henderson at Knox Bistro. In the early evening, we’d head to Deep Ellum — live music, art, energy — and grab dinner and drinks at Culpepper Cattle Co then head to Pete’s Piano Bar.
Day 4 – Laid-Back Dallas
Brunch at Rose’s Cafe, then a stroll around White Rock Lake to slow things down. That night, something fun and casual like Mot Hai Bah followed by drinks at Cosmos.
Day 5 – Highland Park & Shopping
Lunch at Honor Bar, walk through Highland Park Village, then coffee at Dior Cafe.
Day 6 – Texas Energy
A true Texas moment whether that’s a Mavs, Stars, or Cowboy’s game, a concert, or a big group dinner at The Rustic. Dallas does social gatherings really well.
Day 7 – Wind Down
Brunch, good coffee, and a relaxed afternoon before heading out — maybe one last walk on the Katy Trail and a last great meal.
What makes Dallas special is the people. It’s social, welcoming, and ambitious. You meet entrepreneurs, creatives, artists, and operators all in the same room. It’s a city that knows how to work hard — and have a really good time doing it.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d absolutely dedicate my shoutout to two groups.
First, my investors — not just for their capital, but for their trust. They believed in me early and, more importantly, gave me the autonomy to build companies the way I envision it. Having partners who don’t micromanage, don’t limit creativity, and truly support long-term thinking has made all the difference. That level of belief is rare, and I don’t take it lightly.
And second, my dad. Entrepreneurship has always been part of my world — it’s in our blood. Watching him build, take risks, and navigate the realities of startups shaped how I think about business from a young age. He paved the way and showed me what it really means to create something from nothing, and that foundation has stayed with me throughout my career.
