We had the good fortune of connecting with Myron Callier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Myron, how does your business help the community?
This company was born out of a battle with a brain disease. I changed my diet as a means to curb the issues that arose from multiple sclerosis. I was able to go from six medications down to one through diet end exercise. Therefore using natural ingredients in combination with low sodium and sugar is a benefit to most anyone. Especially those with auto immune deficiencies.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Over ten years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I did a lot of research and quickly found that many of my issues were related to diet. So I changed my diet and went form six medications down to one. Salsa happened to be my “go-to” snack while combatting this disease but there was a problem. I could not find a salsa that was low sodium, low sugar and packed with flavor. So I created several recipes that solved my problem. Then a friend mentioned I should enter these salsas in an international competition called Zestfest. I did. I won. Twice. With that I quit my job and now make plain ole salsa here in Plano, Texas.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife and son. Without their support and emotional sacrifices there is no way I could enjoy the success this company is experiencing.
