We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Forever Frances Scrub Co is dedicated to my late mother Marian Williams, who was an amazing nurse. My mother’s passion for nursing, caring for patients and teaching others have always been very inspirational to me. In 2016 my mother was in a fatal car accident that resulted in her being killed and my dad being left in critical condition. I’ve always wanted to honor her legacy as an award winning nurse and thought this would be the best way. I’m truly grateful for all that healthcare professionals have done for my family and others.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Currently I work for Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Account Development Specialist, in the Medical Sales Industry. This job was such a blessing and the story behind how I even landed this role was a testimony in itself. My mom and I always talked about landing a job in the Medical Sales industry because I truly enjoy sales. I have been in the Sales industry for over 6 years, always in the top 10 percentile but never landing my dream job. So, I went to a National Sales Network Conference with the hopes of just landing an interview but left with a job offer. To finally be living in my moment with the job of my dreams and now a new business, I’m just so blessed. This journey definitely tested my faith but I continued to pray, put God first and watch all my blessings fall in line. I want the world to know no matter what cards you’re dealt, how dark life can seem or how long things may take to come to fruition. When its your time its your time! And this is what pushes me now with my business, just keeping the faith and pushing through.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m still new to the city so I’m still learning some of the hot spots! However, I just had my girls in Dallas to celebrate my 30th. One of my favorite places we attended was Kiss in downtown Dallas. This place is literally a one stop shop for a girls night! We can get Lamb Chops, a good lemon drop and a visit the lounge upstairs with amazing music. Another place we visited was the MYX lip bar which was very interactive and fun. Of course I’ve been to Kitchen and Cocktails because I LOVE soul food and it was amazing! I continue to follow Dallas Love List for creative activities, if you don’t follow them you should.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think many people played a role in the success of this business. Everything about Forever Frances from the vision to the mission of this company is dedicated to my late mom Marian Williams. My Uncle, Mack Wilbourn played a HUGE part in getting my business off the ground and running. With my Uncle’s continued success in entrepreneurship he really was a great mentor through the process. My friends and family also have played a big role in keeping me motivated and encouraged during the beginning stages of the launch. Everyone whose supported me through this process will never know how much I appreciate their support.
