We had the good fortune of connecting with Micah Clarke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Micah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was I didn’t like the fact of working a 9-5 because I felt very unhappy and felt like I could be maximizing my time with doing something that I love to do. I felt that my time was worth more than I was getting paid for at the time. So I figured that it was time to start being a full time business owner.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I own my own media company and what makes me stand out is the many things that I have to offer. I am a videographer, photographer, drone pilot, I sell apparel and I put my photos on canvas. I help bring visions to life with my work! I’m most excited about the journey I will take and build a foundation that my kids kids will be able to inherit. How I got to where I am today is God, faith, grit, dedication and determination! The road of success is always challenging and there are days that are harder than others. I overcame my challenges by looking on the brighter side of things and having a different perspective. The lessons I learned was to always invest early, stay where you’re strong at and build a solid team. I want the world to know that you should keep God first, never be afraid to take risks and always bet on yourself. Networking gets you in a lot of places! Sometimes it’s not always what you know but who knows you! I want to be a living example that you can do things you love and still become successful in life!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to legacy west in Plano, the star and my favorite restaurant Tupelo honey. I like going to get a drink at shakertins and hangout there. Frisco is a nice place to hangout and if you want to relax you can do that too.

I would like to thank my family, my girlfriend and those who always supported and believed in me.
