We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Winkler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Relationships are by far the most important factor behind my success. Without other people, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Not only have referrals from colleagues and clients built my client roster, but the networks of other business owners around me daily keep me thriving as a human being. One of the most important things about business ownership is to remember that we’re all humans first and business owners second.

What should our readers know about your business?
My work is all about supporting the individual business owner. My clients have often built a business organically and then hit a wall – they’re doing it all, serving their clients, and making a difference in the world. But they know they need consistency and structure in their business to grow…and structure is NOT their thing! So, I come in and help them create a structure for their marketing and sales that works for them and aligns with their strengths. We use their astrological natal chart to help fill in the gaps, too. Nothing is cookie-cutter in my work!

My business stands out because it serves the whole person and the whole business. I combine intuitive guidance with tried-and-true business strategies to nurture my clients and allow them to thrive. This methodology is unlike any that I’ve seen out there and my clients are wildly successful!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d have to take them to the Perot Museum – it’s one of my favorite spots in Dallas. We’d definitely stop by Musume in Dallas for some of the most inventive dishes I’ve ever had. And we’d have to hop into Dot’s in Deep Ellum for a drink before calling it a night.

On day two, I’d take them to Denton for a day out. Patchouli Joe’s Books & Indulgences, Sleeping Lizzards, and Bewitched Denton are all must-shops. Lunch at LSA, and cocktails/mocktails in the evening at Miss Angeline’s.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out two people: Michelle DeNio, who is the most incredible super connector! She has introduced me to so many of my business besties, colleagues, and clients, and Darnell Brown, who runs his community, Forge, with heart and soul. It’s become my business home away from home.
