We had the good fortune of connecting with Marc Leverett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marc, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I made the decision of starting my own business, I knew I’d rather put my time, energy and skillset into my own company as oppose to another big company.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My music stems from real life experiences. It is inspirational, motivational, rough and rugged. What got me to where i am at today has been ambition and also persistence. The road has not been easy. But I’ve always believed nothing worth having will be. Challenges I had to overcome was incarceration, legal troubles, death/loss, sobriety, fear and doubt. The most important lesson I learned was to keep God first. As long as I put the work in day in and day out, He’ll do the rest!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
XTC or DGs night club. Deep Ellum to try different food and bars. Big T plaza for the culture. Cowboys stadium. Downtown skyline

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The most influential person I can give a shot out too would be my father. Who instilled in me core values, work ethic, and determination. Most importantly how to be a man
