We had the good fortune of connecting with Maggie Sova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maggie, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Sometimes the choice isn’t quit or keep going

Sometimes it’s:
   •   keep going differently
   •   pause without quitting
   •   lay it down temporarily
   •   or let God redefine the assignment, not remove it

You’re allowed to rest without resigning.
I’m a firm believer –
if God gave me the dream, the vision, he will make the provision

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a close friend came into town and I had a week to show them Dallas through my eyes, the experience would be a blend of elegance, creativity, and unmistakable Texas flair.

We’d begin with an unforgettable evening at Monarch, where elevated Italian cuisine meets sweeping views of the Dallas skyline. It’s the kind of place that feels celebratory—perfect for lingering conversations, great wine, and taking in the city from above.

From there, I’d introduce them to the soul of the city in the Bishop Arts District—one of my favorite neighborhoods. It’s eclectic, artistic, and full of character, with independent boutiques, local galleries, and an endless mix of unique restaurants. It’s the kind of area where you wander without a plan and always discover something special.

For shopping, Dallas does not disappoint. A day at NorthPark Center is a must—an iconic mall that blends high-end retail like Neiman Marcus with art, architecture, and a refined shopping experience. For something more intimate and charming, we’d stroll through Highland Park Village, browsing luxury boutiques, enjoying the beautifully landscaped courtyards, and stopping for lunch or cocktails.

One of my favorite spots there is Mi Cocina—a go-to for elevated Mexican cuisine in a warm, inviting setting that perfectly complements the village’s charm.

Throughout the week, it would be about savoring great food, discovering beautiful spaces, shopping with intention, and soaking in the energy of Dallas—a city that effortlessly blends sophistication with creativity and heart.

Dallas isn’t just where you go—it’s how you experience it. And this is the way I love to share it. I am a Dallas diamond girl.💎
