We had the good fortune of connecting with Levi Lascsak and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Levi, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The power of passive prospecting through video on YouTube. Making videos does not take you time, it makes you time. Not only does video make you time, it can compound your time. Our YouTube channel prospects for us 16 days worth of time every day. That means we generate enough watch hours to the channel that is equivalent to 16 days everyday. Active prospecting is hard. It is why most business owners fail within the first couple of years. Lead generation is key to the success of any business. You have to get customers in the door that will buy your product or service. If your lead generation is directly tied to your efforts, you don’t have a business, you have a job. Building a business is about leveraging systems, process, or people. YouTube can be a 24/7/365 lead generating platform so you don’t have to chase clients or wonder where your next customer is coming from.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We have generated all of our business from YouTube in the first 18 months. Instead of going out and cold calling, door knocking or spending a ton of money on advertising, we just made videos. It took a little longer to generate the first sale but after it starts, it turns into a compound effect. More people will see your videos leading to more calls without you having to chase people down. Once they watch several of your videos, they will reach out when they have made the decision to work with you. It is the best relationship between a brand and the client. you provide the value upfront for free through video. When the client has consumed enough free value, they will reach out when they are ready to purchase your product or service.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You can start your day in Dallas with a workout at the gym, a run on the trails, dropping in to a local Crossfit. You’ll want to head to Uptown for breakfast and watch as everyone hustles to work. Take the trolly around uptown to get the overall view. Stop by Klyde Warren Park to enjoy some people watching. Head over to Bishop Arts for lunch and boutique shopping. For dinner, make your way to Plano and pick a spot in Legacy West. There are plenty of top-rated restaurants and high end shopping. Stay for the bar scene if you like the older bar scene or head back to Uptown for the younger crowd.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my business partner, Travis Plumb, the Living in Dallas Texas Team, and our support staff. I collected the clients and they converted them. It is a true team effort.
