We had the good fortune of connecting with LaTrisa Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaTrisa, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent the most important thing that I have done as a parent that has impacted my son to treat others like you want to be treated. Having humility for everyone and Whatever you do make sure that it is pleasing to God.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of STS PLUS ACCESSORIES INC. I have been a business owner for 24 years. I have been a stylist for 34 years. I am very proud and excited that over this period of time my business and loyal clients have created a village. Without them I would not be where I am today. Looking back on it, the road was not easy but I would not change anything. Many lessons that I learned though out this journey is that whatever life throws at you, just buckle down and ride the wave. Just like going thru this pandemic as a business owner you have to reinvent yourself. Stay consistent, always give 1oo% or more, and make sure that your word is your bond. You won’t be able to please all the people all the time but give the service that you provide all that you have and in the end there will be no regrets.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Entertaining a good friend for a week would consist of some shopping at shops at Legacy, The Galleria Mall, and The Allen Outlet. Take a trip to the Harbor Rockwall walk around eat a bite. Wind down by catching a movie at the Galaxy drive in. Get some history in by going to the African American Museum, visit a farmers market, and maybe cook out on the grill at home. Make sure that we get some pampering in with a visit to the nail salon and definitely take a trip to STS Plus Accessories to get styled that you can not live without and accessorize yourself with some fiery jewelry. maybe take in a sporting event, it all depend on who is playing in the city. Get some workout in with Jerome Givens and grab a salad from Cafe Maxx. Take a ride out to Grapevine Texas for site seeing and to grab something to eat. On Sunday Morning make to the house of the Lord at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church to hear an awesome word. Here in Dallas Texas the possibilities are endless.
