We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristina Curtis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristina, what do you attribute your success to?
Providing a great service that leads to repeat clients and referrals! I’ve been in business for almost 12 years now, and I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with some wonderful clients. You know you’re doing your job well when a client wants to work with you again or they’ve given your name to a friend or colleague. I’m always honored and so grateful.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve always been very proud of the level of detail we provide to our clients, as well as to the architects, builders, subcontractors, and anyone else associated with each project. I’ve always had a passion for remodels and renovations, and I think that shows when we’re given the opportunity to show off our interior architecture skills on a project. We really do drive all aspects of the design, including the exterior in many cases, so having seamless communication is vital. We created a great system to make sure our projects run smoothly and I’ve loved the positive feedback we’ve received from the builders and subs. Projects work best when we’re brought in Day 1. This actually saves clients money in the long run because we listen to their wants and needs and are able to get into the details from the start.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Great question! I am such a foodie. I can’t tell you how often I get asked for restaurant recommendations and I love it when people try the places I suggest! The restaurants in Nashville that I’m loving right now (in no particular order) are:
Locust, Iggy’s, Ichigo Ichie, Epice, The Iberian Pig, and Roze Pony.
There are honestly so many other good ones (and more coming!) that I feel guilty only naming 6!
If you’re coming to Nashville then you’ve got to hit the live music scene and also dive into the music history. A tour or show at The Ryman is always a must. Every seat in the house is great. A good friend of mine just had his debut performance at The Grand Ole Opry and I was blown away by the talent showcased throughout the night. Such a fun way to spend an evening. The Listening Room is also great if you’re looking for superior live music. If you’re seeking out a cocktail, check out Patterson House, Hidden Bar, Pushing Daises, and The Supper Club at The Twelve Thirty Club. The live music at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar is always a good time, and I’m also a big fan of a night at Rudy’s Jazz Club.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d have to say my father. He has provided endless love, support and mentorship that has shaped me into the person and businesswoman I am today.
