We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristian Esparza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristian, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was about 10 years ago I was working at safelite replacing windshields and realized there was no way I could do this for the rest of my life, that night I listed the three things I love most which were fitness, mentoring, and helping people. Once I laid it out personal training jumped out at me and I signed up that day and haven’t looked back.
Once doing it for a couple years at my local gym I decided it was time to test my business prowess and bought a gym that I was working at. Over the last 5 years I have made it into a biomechanics specialty gym that helps people with scoliosis to high end athletes looking to move and perform at their best.
The mission is and has always been to make people strong lean and mobile so they look good, feel good, and have the movement ability to keep up with their grandkids.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our attention to detail and true personalization stand out from any training facility in the area. The range of clientele we can help ranges from clients with scoliosis to top end athletes, old and young. When you focus on the essential patterns needed to live a long healthy life it applies and helps any and everyone. My goal is to help people look good, feel great and live a pain free life till they are 120. With that comes great movement and performance.
Dealing with Covid-19 while trying to bring a different and new style into a prestigious area like Coppell was very challenging. But through perseverance and a relentless attitude driven by passion we found our footing and have continued to build our brand
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Taking them to hutcheons bbq in frisco, followed by a day at grandscape playing mini golf, maybe surfing, laser tag by Battlehouse Plano. We would also go to the stockyards and hit up a rodeo while enjoying one of Dallas best cuisine Vietnamese food at our favorite place pho pasture 2
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my mother and father for supporting me in every way possible to make my dream a reality. They see the passion I truly have and want to help me spread it to as many people as I can. I wouldn’t be anywhere without their never ending support
