We had the good fortune of connecting with Kathy D. Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kathy D., what matters most to you?
The other day, I read that when you cannot make a decision it’s because you don’t know what you value. The more I thought about this statement, the more I’ve realized how very true it is and how much knowing what I value matters to me. For example, when you cannot answer a small easy question of what to eat or what movie to watch, it reflects that either you don’t know what you value or it doesn’t mean much to you. If we do not value ourselves first, then we cannot affect change on the collective consciousness. By valuing our self first, we value our physical care and health, our emotional well-being, our mental health, and our spiritual needs. We put our self first always – similar to how flight attendants always say to put on your own oxygen mask before helping others. If our cup of self love is not full and overflowing we don’t have extra to share with others without giving away what we need to survive. If we choose to give away what we need, we are also giving away our personal power to others. We all need to be better stewards of our own love, health, and care. In this manner we are setting great examples for everyone else. So many people want better relationships with family and friends. Others want a romantic relationship and search endlessly for it. If everyone would take a moment to stop and think, they would realize if we don’t have a great relationship with our self first, how can we expect to have one with others? All great things come from within us first. So we need to try and always put our needs first until we are fulfilled and then tend to others. We need to decide what is important to us, what we truly value, and then make our decisions based on that.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

My ultimate goal is to help you heal and live the amazing future you know you can have but aren’t sure how to get there.  I do this by calling upon my own gifts to provide clients with a unique healing experience.   I am able to channel The Light for any person or group I am with. “The Light” consists of ascended masters, angels, and other crossed over loved ones in The Light who have messages of healing for you.  This ability gives me the wonderful gift to be fully prepared anytime. My Clair gifts and the fact I am a very sensitive empath allow me to read and know people very well. I am able to pinpoint your “issues” and know exactly how to help you heal in a loving effective way after just a few questions.  Like many of you, I was not aware of my gifts. I discovered most anything you do easily or try to ignore is a gift. It helps to get guidance with knowing what your gifts are so you develop and use them to your advantage, not your disadvantage. It was not easy to get where I am today. We all have challenges which cause us to change, grow, and evolve.  In 2005, I was unable to walk or care for myself when I had a serious environmental illness and electromagnetic frequency illness. During my healing, I learned several of the healing techniques I now use. I experienced firsthand how healing your stored emotions is anti-aging and brings more peace and joy into your life.  I overcame my illness by working with my stored emotion and with the sheer determination to get better and not live life as a victim of my illness. My mission is now to help all of you wanting the healing and guidance to find your Soul’s Purpose, discover and develop your gifts, and live a fulfilling happy life on earth!  I invite you to enroll in The Soul Finder Program.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely explore the shops and eating places in downtown Plano, McKinney and the Shops of Legacy. That is not even mentioning downtown Dallas with all of the many exciting treasures there. We would spend a day at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens! There are so many interesting museums and of course we couldn’t miss Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth for a night of fun! Also we would visit the art and food in Deep Ellum and visit some of the nearby lakes and parks. We would never be lacking for something to do in the Dallas-Fort Worth area! Oh and I forgot to mention the 360 degree revolving restaurant atop Reunion Tower overlooking downtown Dallas for a dinner at sunset!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely contribute my success to my two children. If not for them, I would not be growing and evolving as much as I am. They provide me with endless love, support, and mentorship. As I observe them grow, they are teaching and showing me so much more about life on earth. They are dedicated and determined to achieve what they want in life. I could never ask for more loving support than what they are for me!
