We had the good fortune of connecting with Kassie Dozier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kassie, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
To accept failure. Sometimes when we experience failures especially in business we often feel rejected. That rejection will have you thinking you’ve lost! Honestly, it’s a tool for you to analyze, learn, and grow from. Without mistakes there would be no success.
What should our readers know about your business?
I own a natural luxury skincare line, it’s unique because I can honestly east my product. I make everything from fruit, veggies, herbs, flowers, and their oil or butter derivatives. I did my research for the recipes, each component, and concluded formulation chemist was my goal. After getting certified and understanding what pairs well with each other I was ready to start blending. You always want to do tests before launching an item to the masses. We had issues with shelf life since all my products are natural. We found great NATURAL solutions that didn’t alter our results. The interesting part of my brand and why I am so passionate about it Is I’m a cancer survivor with sensitive skin. I wanted an exclusive brand that fit my needs and that could also benefit my entire family as well.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a foodie! So we gotta hit all the amazing food places like Turkey D.A.M. or Kitchen + Kocktails. Then we gotta have something fun at TheSandBox VR!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
