Meet Kase Wisdom | Vocalist and Promoter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kase Wisdom and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kase, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The main reason I started VulgarPR because I saw how most promoters run things from a musician standpoint, and I felt that I could do better as far as making the bands feel like they are important. They are there to play a show and the people that are coming are there for them. Not you the promoter and I feel like alot blur the lines. On top of that I saw how promoters were doing things on the marketing side and I felt that the methods used were outdated. So I took things into my own hands with the help and wisdom of others and started to learn the business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I never thought I’d get into the promoting game, but my urge to be completely involved in music pushed me towards it. I’m actually a vocalist. I’ve been doing it for 11 years now and it’s one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done. Going through and learning proper techniques and then mastering them over the years, hearing how I sound through the years to now; its insane the progress you can make when you put forth a full hearted effort. I’ve been in 2 bands so far and I’m in a slam project right now. The first band was a DSBM band called IMBR we dropped Eternal Blood a 14 track album back in 2017 to Noone. Fast forward to 2021 I started Ultimatum with my boys and we proceeded to do things I never thought possible. From playing 800+ crowds to touring in America, it all just blew me away. Now we have started Big Ass Artillery Gun which is a meme/gangster slam project we have 7 songs being worked on right now so keep an eye out.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well my best friend is David. Him and I stay very close to each other so we stay pretty active together. But if we were gonna go have the best time I think we’d go to like Winstar and gamble and drink till the sun came up. Him and I are always have a good time everywhere we go.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Alot of people helped get me to where I am but there is one person that without him I’d be homeless with no drive or discipline and that’s David Parada. He’s been down for me since the day I met him even though when we were first met I was nothing and I was extremely obnoxious. He took me under his wing, helped bring my band to the limelight, gave me a house to live in, and has dropped so much game for me to use in life and business.
Also my lady she’s a huge reason I’m even remotely successful. She pushes me to keep going and push through all the adversity.
I’d also like to shoutout my boys Adrian Solis (my boy my marine) George Martinez (music day one), Kurtis Hicks (DBR), and Randy Morgan ( my rhythm master) these are my boys from Ultimatum. Id also wanna call my boy Mycah from Murdered Streetwear, he has helped me in my financial and spiritual journey alot. Without these people none of anything I do would’ve been possible.
There are so many more people i could mention but these are my circle of killers and I’d be nothing without them.
