We had the good fortune of connecting with Kandice Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kandice, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I feel my sons have been most impacted by my work ethic and my pursuit for financial freedom. I have been a Licensed Commercial Driver for many years. My passion tho,is for creating and cooking cultural foods. I couldn’t find a spinach-artichoke dip I liked,so I created one!! Thus the birth of my business- Taylor’s Dip!! My dips are available in several Markets, as well as online sales and delivery options. I have been featured in The Atlanta Journal Constitution, and other Community Functions. My oldest son has his own business, and has just started a franchise of Taylor’s Dip in Texas! I couldn’t be prouder. My youngest has just turned old enough to be in the workplace, and he.helps me at some of local markets. I’m determined to leave my sons and grandsons a lasting legacy. I want them to understand how important Generational Wealth is. In these times,it is necessary to understand your credit worthiness, and knowledge of. savings, checking and money market accounts. Financial awareness should be taught in the schools, Its not available here,so I’ve made sure my sons know financial readiness, that will have.a positive and lasting effect on them, their children and the community

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I created a Spinach-artichoke Dip that I would love. I listened to many people who complained about the mayonnaise or the onions in most Spinach-artichoke dips. I listened to many customers that wanted vegan options. In addition to my Original Dip, I then created a very tasty Vegan option and a Cashew Spread that is used instead of cheese in many dishes. I love people! I love seeing them so excited about my Dips! Hard work and dedication does pay off!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My “Main Love/Work” spot is The Peachtree City Farmers Market. There is an awesome variety of different vendors supplying many with edible goods(food trucks, baked goods, fresh local grown fruits and veggies, organic meats etc) as well as clothing, arts and crafts. There are many great show off spots in Peachtree City that I would share with my visiting friend.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends have supported me from the birth of Taylor’s Dip. Many of my peers/co-vendors are always supporting me in making all who try my dips become “Dip-A-Holics !!
