We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
If you want to foster creativity, you have to own your own business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our creativity is represented in our Art. We like things that look good and feel like they were designed with careful attention and love. We are most excited about large format printing of images and portraits, custom Street sign making, Chenille embroidery and Tuffted rug making. We have over 14 years of customer service and hospitality experience and overcame challenges by being thankful and staying positive. We want DFW community members to seek SpaceGallery ArtDepot to fulfill their art and decor needs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Start at Trinity River, visit a restaurant, walk the trails and bridges, bring a bike or set up a picnic. Head to downtown for a view of the architecture, high rises and historic buildings. Stop for a cupcake or lunch at any of the many restaurants while you people watch. Discover the underground tunnels. Shopping at NorthPark, Preston Hollow or Addison, visit one of the many restaurants or boutiques. Visit an arcade game bar or try a sport, sand volleyball, golf or axe throwing. Take a break and relax at a luxury hotel spa, or visit a boutique or day spa. Concerts and games abound around the city, check ticketmasters for available shows from Ballet, Country, Rock, or international Culture. These are a few of the itinerary items I see as fun and interesting.
