We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph Siebrasse and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joseph, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
I truly wanted to have freedom to do the things I wanted to do. I never enjoyed working for a company just for others to gain the life I want from my hard work. There is a huge want to provide for my children and my children’s children. Of course this approach has changed as I have grown as a entrepreneur. The best decision we’ve made to to put our faith at the forefront of everything we do. We want to make sure to treat everyone equally and with the highest level of respect.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We know without a doubt that our want to honestly serve our community is what has led to our success. We have learned that the better you fill the need of your clients, the further they will help spread the word about who and what you are. There is nothing “easy” about running your own business. It take patience at the highest level. Patience to learn, apply and reap. I was an overnight success at failure. We hit so many speed bumps in the first five years it was overwhelming at times. Staying the course and keeping the faith that you are where God wants you is paramount. Giving up is never an option. We also found out that having the right team in the right place will lead to success. Being willing to make adjustments on the fly is a must. You do not have time to stop everything over one potential issue. We have also become really good at forecasting potential outcomes. This allows us to be better prepared for the unexpected.
We started our business with $8K in startup capital after I sold my Harley. After many years of persistence and adjustment where needed, we are now a multi-million dollar company. We have never taken a loan out for anything. This has allowed us to be profitable month by month since the start.
With all the time, thought, effort and will put into starting our business, we naturally flowed that into our customer service and the actual work we do with peoples trust. This has paid off for us time and time again.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
DFW provides so many great chances to do amazing things with friends and family. The food scene is defiantly where is it at.
I would start by going to downtown Dallas just for the environment. There are so many great locally owned restaurants and shops that you will never run out of new places to go to. We enjoy having our dogs with us being that most places have a patio to sit on. We are blessed with pretty nice weather year round. The Farmers Markets are always a great place to see a variety of culture and foods.
We have to many lakes around it would be foolish to not enjoy a day on the boat or just having a BBQ on the shore.
Be sure to get some fine dining in at any of the cities 5 star restaurants. I highly recommend The Monarch downtown Dallas if you want to feel like a movie star!
There are plays in small theaters all over DFW. Seek out some of these to get the personal interaction that you miss out on with huge productions.
I would be doing a dis-service if I didn’t get a visitor to learn about the rich history in the area. We have some of the coolest museums in the state. Everything from flight to ranching is right here where we call home.
Grapevine is known as the Christmas Capital if Texas, so be sure to come during that special time of year. The VIN hotel is an upscale place with a large selection of food and shopping inside. Its also in the epicenter of the Grapevine lifestyle.
Shopping is second to none in Dallas. North Park Center is a designer mall that you will want to enjoy the entire day at. Designer clothing and food to match. They also have one of the largest budgets just for landscaping inside and out in the nation. Take time to smell the roses!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For my wife and I we always give credit to our faith in God for where our business has grown to and the lives we have touched. Along with that any of our businesses would not be where they are today if we didn’t surround ourselves with strong minded people with solid work ethics. Our team has always been a huge part in our growth. Our business has always been focused on community and helping others.
I have had many mentors over the years that have just poured knowledge into the advancement of our business action. Im currently a member of a community that has a focus on faith and being an entrepreneur. The King’s Brotherhood led by Nicholas Bayerle continues to proved so many of the tools needed to reach high levels of success in business and life.
