We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Peter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
As a young kid, moving to a whole new country was a life-changing experience. My parents play a very important role in my music career. if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have been able to chase this wild dream of becoming the best artist in the world, let alone in this country. for them to sacrifice all that they had, just to move across the world to give their kids an opportunity to become something of themselves.

I have always been interested in learning an instrument ever since I grew up seeing my cousins and uncles playing all types of instruments.

I picked up the piano and guitar and through the help of YouTube, I learned how to play those instruments. I quickly realized that I was left-handed and the guitar I had gotten from my parents was a right-handed one. I didn’t have a choice but to try to learn how to play it upside down, and now it’s the only way I can play the guitar. soon I realized that I wanted to make music and put it out there to showcase my work, I figured out how to produce music on software called FL studio, and started making beats for friends and myself throughout high school. as I got older, I wanted to play shows live and tried reaching out to show promoters for the opportunity but no one would take a kid in high school seriously. so, in my last senior year, I decided to throw my first ever music event in a small town called Wylie, TX for me and my friends to perform, around 500 or so people showed up and we all had a great experience.

Now I and a couple of friends are taking our music to the next level by not just treating it like a hobby but as a business to run. I’m grateful for this wonderful brotherhood that I share with like-minded musicians, and we all help out each other and support each other in our music individually and as a collective.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
