We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Coyle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been some what entrepreneurial and have owned several businesses throughout my life. I’m always drawn to the idea that having your own business, removes the growth limits that come with being employed by someone else. The sky’s the limit, as they say, so if things play out well, you can literally go after as much as you’re willing to work for!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always been artistic in many ways. I spent most of my earlier years pursuing music and utilized some of my art for promotional efforts and things like that. As many starting musicians do, my backup gig was working in various construction trades. I’ve been everything from a roofer, to a drywall installer and spent several years as a custom stair builder installing intricate wood work in multi million dollar homes. These were the years I really honed in my craftsmanship and learned some lasting lessons on taking your time, and paying close attention to seemingly small details that play a very significant role in the overall outcome of your work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If im being honest, being “out on the town” ran its course for me during my many years of playing shows and promoting shows. I love to smoke meat and cook on the grill, so I would most likely have some killer menu on the wood fire with some cold beers, some good music and the kids playing in the background. I just can’t imagine a better thing to be doing these days.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My biggest inspiration would have to be my kids. I’ve always wanted to be someone they could be proud of and in some ways, look up to. I want to be an example that you can choose a unique path, and go after anything you want to be.
