Meet Isaiah Steward | Singer, Dancer & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Steward and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
First and foremost, my belief and dedication to my Lord and Savior. I give all glory to God. I am dedicated to getting better and tackle everyday with a set goal to accomplish that day. It may be that I am writing songs, working on vocal technics or maybe learning a new dance move etc but I know if I do this daily while working on all things music and dance, then I can only get better. I am confident in myself to be the best person I can be and with doing this, all other things jus fall into place. I am open and learning to new things everyday or building on the skill level God has blessed me with.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been singing and modeling since I was 10 and dancing since I was 13. I am a hard worker that is dedicated to getting better. I don’t take short cuts and sometimes may be too hard on myself. I am a perfectionist, which is good and also could be bad. I knew that this is not going to be an easy journey but I have all intentions of tackling everyday to improve from where I was when I woke up that morning. Along the way there has been hurdles but I just run through them and know that tomorrow is another day. In the music business I know its a tough industry to be successful in and I know that my day will come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I do love listening to live music. I would go somewhere that we could listen to live music but also love being outside. I am always down for eating out and just have fun hanging out and also playing video games.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have always admired Michael Jackson’s talents, both dancing and singing. Through the years, I have studied both Chris Brown and Usher. I watch their music videos as well as their interviews and I think my music ways are similar to theirs. I think of these artists have worked hard to get where they are and I know I will do the same. I am inspired by the voices of The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Drake to name a few. My parents have always been pretty cool through all of this. They say they are my biggest fans but also my biggest critics so I love them for that.
