Hi Irayana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Embarking on the journey of establishing Beautyxyanaa LLC was driven by a combination of personal passion and a clear vision for the future. From a young age, I was drawn to entrepreneurship, finding joy in offering beauty products like lashes, blunt holders, and sunglasses during my high school years at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. This early experience not only honed my business acumen but also deepened my appreciation for the beauty industry.

After graduating in 2021, I faced the pivotal decision between pursuing a military career and attending cosmetology school. A transformative moment came in November 2021 when I enrolled in a lash class and discovered a profound passion for lash artistry. This revelation led to the birth of Beautyxyanaa. Recognizing the importance of a stable foundation, I joined the U.S. Navy Reserves in July 2022, aiming to support my educational aspirations. Upon completing basic training and specialized schooling, I immediately enrolled in cosmetology school. Balancing military drills, client appointments, and academic commitments, I successfully completed the program in October 2023 and obtained my cosmetology license in January 2024.

The inception of Beautyxyanaa LLC is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth. Each step of the journey has been fueled by a desire to blend entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for beauty, laying the groundwork for a brand that embodies dedication and excellence.

Establishing Beautyxyanaa LLC has been a journey marked by passion, resilience, and a commitment to excellence in the beauty industry. Our brand stands out by offering a comprehensive range of services, including lash extensions, hair styling, male grooming, and specialized training programs, all tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

One of our proudest achievements is the development of our proprietary lash trays, designed to ensure a flawless, full-volume look for our clients. These products exemplify our dedication to quality and innovation, setting us apart in a competitive market.

The path to our current standing was not without challenges. Securing funding for business growth initially relied heavily on personal income, which posed limitations. Additionally, health challenges in late 2024 led to a temporary cessation of client appointments, resulting in financial setbacks. Overcoming these obstacles required resilience, strategic planning, and an unwavering commitment to our vision.

Throughout this journey, valuable lessons have been learned, including the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and maintaining a client-centric approach. These insights have been instrumental in shaping our brand’s ethos and service offerings.
