We had the good fortune of connecting with Howen Wu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Howen, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have many friends who own their own small local businesses, and they all complain about their own obstacles they face in their line of work that they wish had a simple and easy-to-find fix. So I started my own business that offers general fixes to all types of problems business owners face. For instance, our Start-up Package provides website development, logo design, and email marketing campaigns which is perfect for the aspiring entrepreneur who has their million dollar idea but doesn’t want to worry about the technical obstacles that come with starting an online business. Or maybe our influencer package which offers thumbnail design, video editing, and animation development which is perfect for the aspiring creative influencer that wants to follow their passion for making videos and digital content but doesn’t have the knowledge or experience to edit their video and make it look professional. Our mission encompasses the unequivocal commitment to support and empower diverse segments of small businesses across all categories.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Starting a business isn’t easy and the process of hiring people to help complete the services we offer was definitely the hardest part of the process. I spent months carefully picking qualified applicants and I am proud to say we now have a top-tier team which is what sets us apart from the competition, our team will never leave you playing a guessing game, we will always be there to answer your questions, explain thought processes, brainstorm ideas, and of course deliver you high-end results. It wasn’t easy finding such great people for my team and throughout the process, I think the biggest lesson I learned is that good things come to those who wait.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
DFW is such a great place filled with so much to do and it’s hard to choose my favorites. However, if I had to narrow it down to a few days of activities I’d start with the food. Taco Factory has some of the best tacos I have ever tasted, or maybe if my friend isn’t a Mexican food person I would take them to Little Rome which makes excellent Italian pasta. Then after their bellies are full I’m taking them to Six Flags Over Texas so that all the food we ate comes right back out through their mouths. The next day they would be pretty mad at me for putting them through that so I would take them to the newly built Frisco Library for some relaxing reading and then to the Botanical Garden for some relaxing strolls through fields of flowers.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t have had this idea without my friend Johnny Wu who owns a moving company ( HJT Logitstics LLC) that covers all of Texas and surrounding states ie. Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Or without his dear wife Gina Tsao who owns a real estate. property management business (Royal Phoneix LLC). Also big thanks to their daughter Jesing who helped me think of the name (@jtbbby on TIk tok).
