We had the good fortune of connecting with Gary Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gary, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind WeirdWear was to find ways to get individuals out of their comfort zone. By introducing our message “Be Whatever” with fashion will give confidence too many who is trying to find purpose in this society.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting into the Fashion/Brand industry was a difficult process for me it was like starting 1st grade all over again Not knowing about all the different prints you can use on on clothing material,no knowledge on wholesaling I was constantly reaching out to individuals that had brands asking for insight on simple things I got no answer. So I studied everyday and every moment, I was teaching myself everything I needed to know about Brands/Fashion.Having a strong minded mindset helped me through the whole process of starting WEIRD WEAR even though I felt like giving up many days. Every time I felt like I was wasting time on the brand I always thought of the purpose. I’ve learned being patient and was the #1 thing I needed to keep pushing forward. Any career someone choose their are gonna be hard days all you can do is keep pushing and I hope WEIRD WEAR can be the light for someone chasing their goals and dreams.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would go to Klyde Warren park Games,Foodtrucks, and a good networking spot for small businesses.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Big shoutout to GaryVee he is a CEO/Investor who shares his good and bad moments when running a business by having someone with a big platform that thinks in many ways I do gave me more confidence and hunger to keep progressing.
