We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Kirven and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was what are all things that I am good at. I have experience in influencer management, influencer marketing, social media management, putting together a team for production, and helping people with their brand identity. Once I was able to gather everything I was good at, then I was able to come up with the overall objective for the agency.

The Curated Agency is multi-faceted because we specialize in all these services related to telling stories and digital marketing.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What I am most proud of about the agency is that we are redefining the influencer space by working with celebrities who want to tap into the influencer market to leverage their fan base and ultimately create another stream of income. We have realized this is a newfound narrative when approaching brands and that is why we have developed specific services and strategies in order for our clients to be successful. Our ultimate goal is to continue to help other celebrities use their platforms to genuinely showcase brands and shape the narrative of what an ‘influencer’ is.

The lessons I have learned along the way is that everything happens for a reason, I remember there was a time when I lost pretty much all of my social media clients and was panicking but little did I know that God was preparing me for something bigger. I ended up securing a big client that demanded a lot of attention from me so God was clearing my schedule to make room for what I needed to focus on.

I overcome challenges simply by staying positive and remaining patient nothing happens overnight and when one door closes another one opens. Continue to do things you need to do to get to where you’re going and everything you aspire to have will come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I could give a week-long itinerary I would go to First Watch for breakfast!

Spend my Saturday morning at Kylde Warren Park for Yoga in the Park. For lunch, you definitely have to visit the RH for a scenic view and good food! And for dinner, I recommend Perry’s Steakhouse I love their floor-to-ceiling windows that outlooks Downtown Dallas and their food is amazing!
