We had the good fortune of connecting with Fallon LaFleur and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fallon, what do you want people to remember about you?
As a Christian, my ultimate desire is for my legacy to reflect my faith and commitment to serving others in accordance with Christ’s teachings. I hope to be remembered as someone who exemplified love, compassion, generosity, and forgiveness in all aspects of my life and work. As a lawyer, I strive to uphold justice and advocate for fairness, guided by principles of integrity and honesty. I aim to be known for my dedication to defending the rights of others, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, while always seeking to bring about reconciliation and healing where possible. Personally, I want my legacy to inspire others to live out their faith with courage and conviction, leaving a positive impact on the lives of those around them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
LaFleur Law provides zealous and exceptional legal representation to those facing misdemeanor and felony charges in Texas courts. Representing and protecting the rights of my clients is not just a job, it is my calling. I am dedicated to handling each case as if it were my own.

At LaFleur Law, we preach the importance of second chances because we firmly believe that one mistake should not tarnish your entire life. Being prosecuted by the government is a stressful and frightening event. The government’s resources are unlimited and the prosecutors are assisted by powerful government agencies such as the FBI and local law enforcement such as city police or county sheriffs. You need an experienced and dedicated lawyer in your corner.

There are three things that separate LaFleur Law from other firms. First, clients and their cases are a priority. I will never accept a case unless I have the time to be fully devoted to it. That means being available to guide clients through the process, talk over any big decisions, and explain things that are confusing. Anytime a client wants to talk about their case, I am easily reached as all clients have my personal phone number. Second, I believe that there is always more to the story and I will find it. From my years of experience, I know that most cases are not what they seem and there is always another side of the story. I take time to thoroughly investigate the prosecution’s claims and put together favorable evidence for my clients. I always goes the extra mile; whether it’s visiting the crime scene or going door-to-door looking for witnesses, I will do what it takes to tell my client’s story and gain a favorable outcome. Third, I know how to get the outcome my clients want. My time spent as a prosecutor has helped me to better evaluate the facts involved in a case, and my ability to see a case from both sides aids me in leaving no legal stone unturned in developing a defense. I am often able to come up with creative strategies to give clients the best chance at receiving the most positive outcome. I understand the law and what is required to cast doubt on the arguments of prosecutors.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is just so much to do here, it’s hard to choose. One of the best things about Frisco is the food! Right now I am a regular at J. Theodore and Suhsi Nunu. J. Theodore charms with its quaint patio, offering a serene escape from the busy streets of Frisco. I have found it to be the perfect place to get together with friends or family and unwind over delicious food and a glass of wine. Sushi Nunu is hands down the best place to grab sushi in Frisco. I love it for its fresh, creative, and flavorful sushi. Everything I’ve tried there is incredible.

For activities, I recommend a day on the rooftop pool at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. The views of the course are incredible, and the service is top tier. It’s the best place to work on your suntan and cool down on those hot Texas days. For those into live music like me, attending a concert at The Stage at Grandscape is the perfect way to spend a summer night. Bonus—the concerts are free, just bring a blanket or lawn chair. I’ve made so many fun memories there with my girlfriends.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am blessed to have the love, encouragement, and support of many people who all have been instrumental in my success story.

I would like to give a special thanks to my grandparents, Mary Ann and Mickey Foret. Without their dedication to my personal and professional development, I would not be where I am today. Their unwavering support and boundless love have been the bedrock upon which I’ve built my dreams and aspirations. From the earliest days of my education to current milestones in my career, they have been my steadfast cheerleaders, always believing in me even when I doubted myself. Gram, your nurturing spirit and endless encouragement have taught me the power of compassion and resilience. Gdad, your wisdom and guidance have shaped my understanding of integrity and determination. Together, you have shown me what it means to live with purpose and dedication. Your sacrifices, both seen and unseen, have paved the way for my success. I will carry the values you both instilled in me, always.

Also deserving of special recognition and thanks are two of the elected judges of the Collin County Courts at Law. To them, I must express heartfelt gratitude for their guidance and invaluable advice throughout my career. Their wisdom and insights have been instrumental in shaping my professional journey. I am deeply appreciative of the time and effort they have generously invested in mentoring me, imparting not only legal expertise but also ethical principles and a deeper understanding of justice. Their support has empowered me to navigate complex legal challenges with confidence and integrity. I am truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from their experiences and perspectives, which continue to inspire and inform my practice. Thank you both for your mentorship and believing in my potential. The guidance you two have provided has made a lasting impact on my career, and I am honored to have had the privilege of learning from such esteemed judges.
