Hi Faith, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Business has taught me the importance of humility and the value of patience. Growth takes time, and nothing worth building happens overnight. The key is to trust the process and remain persistent, even when the path feels uncertain.

What should our readers know about your business?
Ceres Monae is a sustainable luxury fashion brand offering ready-to-wear and made-to-order clothing, handbags, and an expanding range of lifestyle products, including candles and home goods. The journey hasn’t always been easy, especially when handling much of the behind-the-scenes work. Handbags, candles, and clothing are produced in-house, reflecting the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship. Meanwhile, the lifestyle products are thoughtfully created by artisans from around the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Bishop Arts District is such a vibrant spot to explore and spend time in Dallas. It’s full of local businesses that really showcase the city’s charm. If you’re in the mood for food, the chimichurri place there is a must-visit—the empanadas are absolutely worth it!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I love reading, and one book that has truly made an impact on me is Atomic Habits. It’s a guide for anyone looking to shift their mindset. The book emphasizes how small, consistent habits can lead to significant transformations over time, reminding me of the value in staying consistent and intentional in daily actions. It’s a great resource for building better habits.
